The 2022-23 season marks Samantha Yurechuk's third season as head coach of the University of Guelph women’s lacrosse program. Prior to taking over head coaching duties in 2020, Samantha spent two seasons (2018 & 2019) serving as an assistant coach with the Gryphons. The Orangeville native played five seasons of NCAA (Division II) women’s lacrosse, suiting up for the Limestone College Saints (Gaffney, South Carolina) from 2013-to-2018. During her senior year in 2018, Yurechuk earned All-Conference First Team honours and was selected to play in the I.W.L.C.A. From 2009-to-2017, Yurechuk took on several coaching roles with her hometown lacrosse organization (Orangeville Northmen Lacrosse), serving as head coach for every age group for the Orangeville Northmen, from U11 all the way up to the organization’s Senior team.
