2008-09 Women's Ice Hockey Roster
Biography
As the only player returning for a fifth year this
season, the Gryphons are expecting Brittany to lead
by example. Her work ethic, her dedication to the
team, and her on and off ice workouts will set the
standard for the rookies. The coaching staff can
count on Brittany to play well positionally, and work
hard forechecking and backchecking. She’s a fluid
skater with a efficient stride. She drives hard to the
net on offence and uses her size and strength to win
the one-on-one battles for the puck.
2007-08: Brittany played a regular shift in her fourth
season with the Gryphons. She tied her previous
highest goal total, scoring 3 goals and 1 assist for 4
points in 25 games. The highlight of Brittany’s season
was a two-goal game, including the game-winner, in a
4-2 win against the Windsor Lancers in January.
2006-07: Brittany earned 1 assist in 23 games played.
2005-06: Her second year was Brittany’s breakout
season, scoring 3 goals and adding 5 assists for a total
of 8 points in 24 games. She scored the game-winning
goal in a 3-2 win over the Queen’s Golden Gaels for
the OUA bronze medal.
2004-05: Brittany earned 3 assists in 19 games in her
rookie season.
Pre-Guelph: Brittany is from Markdale, Ontario,
where she played for the Aurora Intermediate AA
Panthers.
