Coach Butler is entering his second year coaching for the Guelph Gryphons as Defensive Backs Coach.  He has been coaching Defensive Secondary for 19 years, CFL for 8 years, the NCAA for 10 years and the CIS for one year, and has a strong understanding of most, if not all, of the multiple defensive systems.  He excels at coaching movement techniques, coverage execution, entering tackling contact, and ball awareness. A former Edmonton Eskimo, Gregg enjoys sharing his expertise by speaking at Coaching Clinics and Football Camps.  Gregg is single, lives in Burlington, Ontario, and is a proud prostate cancer survivor.
