Chris Decker – Special Forces Co-Coordinator

Chris returns to the Gryphon coaching staff for his third season, but his second as Special Forces Coach. Chris was a Linebacker Coach in his first season. He played for the Gryphons from 2004 to 2007 and was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2006 and 2007. After graduating from Guelph, he was selected for a coaching mentorship program with the Hamilton Tiger Cats of the CFL for their 2008 season. This program was started to give top young Canadian coaching candidates valuable experience at the professional level. Two summers ago Chris extended his coaching and playing career in Austria.
