The 2025-26 season marks Brodie Jeffery's seventh season in the OUA and second season with the University of Guelph Gryphons baseball program. His coaching journey through collegiate and youth baseball is marked by a strong commitment to player development and competitive success. Before joining the Gryphons, Jeffery served as Head Coach at Laurentian University in Sudbury for two seasons. He also spent three years at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, contributing as both an assistant and head coach. Jeffery brings a wealth of experience from both the Canadian and American baseball landscapes. His resume includes assistant coaching roles at the prestigious Canada Cup, where he helped lead Team Ontario to a national final, and with Canada’s Sunbelt team in McAlester, Oklahoma. He also served as Head Coach of Team North at the Ontario Summer Games, guiding young talent on a provincial stage.

Internationally, Jeffery spent two seasons coaching in the United States, with roles at the University of Tennessee Southern (Pulaski, TN) and Athens High School (Athens, AL). As a player, Jeffery competed at a high level, beginning his collegiate career at NJCAA powerhouse Wallace State Community College (Hanceville, AL) where he was a two-year starter. He then transferred to the University of Tennessee Southern (formerly Martin Methodist College), where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree. A native of Whitby, Ontario, Coach Jeffery currently resides in Ayr, Ontario with his wife, Michelle, and daughter, Lainey.
