    Third Base Coach - Baseball

The 2025-26 season marks Brandon's 8th season as an assistant coach with the University of Guelph Gryphons Baseball team. He grew up playing competitive baseball in the Guelph area and went on to play for the Canadian Thunderbirds prior to being recruited by Wilfrid Laurier University. Brandon played five seasons at Laurier while earning a Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education and a Minor in Psychology. 

A strong infielder on a dynamic Laurier team, he helped the team achieve their winningest season in conference play history and win their first OUA Championship in program history. He was described by his head coach as one of the hardest working players that the program has ever had and someone that players looked up to and respected. Throughout his university baseball career Brandon was honoured with various team awards and twice recognized with the Ontario University Athletics Academic Achievement Award. Brandon played baseball throughout the summer for a dominant Brantford Braves team in the Junior Intercounty Baseball league where he was honoured with Rookie of the Year. He also spent time with the Brantford Red Sox and Hamilton Cardinals of the Intercounty Baseball League. 

Following his playing career, Brandon served as an instructor at Peak Performance Athletics in Guelph, Ontario, and currently serves as an instructor and assistant coach with the Midwestern Ontario Bearcats elite baseball program of the PBLO. Brandon currently resides in Kitchener, Ontario and works as a full time firefighter.
