Biography

CAREER

2013: Started as a defensive back for five games, and a cornerback for the remaining four games… Recorded 20 solo tackles for a combined total of 22.5 tackles on the season, including four broken up passes…Also rushed for 31 yards on one carry.

Playoffs: In the Quarter Final victory over the Windsor Lancers, Carney totaled two assisted tackles… In the Semi Final loss to Queen’s, Carney recorded one solo tackle for a combined total of 1.5 tackles.

 

 2012: Played on practice roster for season.

 

High School: Was a three-sport star high school athlete also quarterbacked Team BC in Football Canada Cup to a bronze medal… In 2011 he passed for 1,431 yards and 11 touchdowns with only three interceptions. He also rushed for 443 yards and five touchdowns… Earned a gold medal at the 2011 BC Secondary School track and field championships in the 4×100 metre relay
