GUELPH, Ont. – Saturday evening (Jan. 25, 2025) at the Guelph Gryphons Athletics Centre, the No. 10-ranked Gryphons women's basketball team picked up a convincing 78-46 win over the visiting Waterloo Warriors on the team's annual 'Alumni Day' game. Lucy Tesseyman (18 points), Alexis Wright (17 points) and Keryl Ousey (16 points) helped lead the way for the Gryphons, who improve to 13-4 on the season and tied atop the OUA West Division standings alongside the Windsor Lancers (13-4). With the loss, the Waterloo Warriors fall to 6-10. The Gryphons will now turn their attention to a marquee matchup next Friday night (Jan. 31) in Guelph, where they will play host to the 13-4 Windsor Lancers in battle for top spot in the OUA West.
