GUELPH, Ont. – The Guelph Gryphons men's basketball team suffered a 99-65 loss to the Western Mustangs on Wednesday night (Jan. 22) in Guelph. With the loss, the Gryphons fall to 5-11 on the season, while the OUA West Division-leading Mustangs improve to 10-6. The Gryphons trailed by 18 at halftime, but were able to trim the deficit to 10 early in the 3rd quarter. The Mustangs would pull away late, however, outscoring Guelph by 14 in the final quarter to secure a second win over Guelph in a five-day span.
