Nine Gryphons football players have earned OUA All-Star status for the 2024 season. Mitchel Schechinger, Anthony Moretuzzo and Caleb Sargeant were named OUA First Team All-Stars, while Donavin Milloy, Vyshonne Janusas, Willem Arseneau, Ethan Pyle, Robert Keyes-Wilson and Kyle Simon-Guerin were named OUA Second Team All-Stars. For Mitchel Schechinger, this marks the second consecutive season he has earned OUA All-Star honours, after having been named an OUA Second Team All-Star a season ago. Schechinger, a third-year guard from Sarnia, Ontario, played an integral role as one of the anchors of the Gryphon offensive line, helping his team averages 490.9 yards of offence per game as well as helping lead the second-best rushing attack in the province. Schechinger, a mechanical engineering major at the University of Guelph, is also a two-sport athlete at U of G, with Schechinger also competing on the Gryphons men's wrestling team, where he was a U SPORTS bronze medalist a season ago in the men's 125kg weight class. Gryphons linebacker, Anthony Moretuzzo, for the second time in his Gryphon career, is an OUA First Team All-Star. This marks the first time since 2021 in which the Stoney Brook, Ontario native has been named a conference all-star on the first team. Moretuzzo was tremendous as one of the leaders of the Guelph defence in 2024, leading the team with 40.0 total tackles (9th in OUA) and 3 interceptions (tied 3rd in OUA) on the season. Special teams ace Caleb Sargeant, for the first time, has been named a conference all-star on the first team. The second-year running back from Kitchener, Ontario was one of the top gunners in the OUA on kick coverage, getting down the field quickly to prevent the opposing team from breaking out a big return.

Third-year running back Donavin Milloy has earned OUA Second Team All-Star honours for a second consecutive season. Milloy has solidified his status as one of the top running backs in the country over the past two years, and in 2024 rushed for 567 yards (5th in OUA), 94.5 yards-per-game (4th in OUA), averaged 8.3 yards-per-carry (tied 2nd in OUA) while scoring 3 touchdowns in six games this season. The Hamilton native also had the longest play of the OUA season when ran 99-yards for a touchdown against Queen's. The Gryphons receiving duo of Vyshonne Janusas and Willem Arseneau have earned OUA Second Team All-Star status for the 2024 season. For Janusas, this is his second all-star nod and his first since 2022. The fourth-year arts major from Windsor was one of the top targets in the Gryphons passing game, leading the team with 33 receptions (8th in OUA) for 459 yards and 2 touchdowns. Second-year receiver, Willem Arseneau, had a breakout season earning him his first all-star nod. The Calgary, Alberta native was the team's big-play threat, leading the team with 631 receiving yards (4th in OUA), 90.1 yards-per-game (2nd in OUA), 24.3 yards-per-catch (led OUA) and 7 touchdowns (tied for 3rd in OUA). Centre Ethan Pyle, for the first time, has been named a conference all-star. The sport and event management major from Milton, Ontario joins his teammate, Mitchel Schechinger, as an OUA All-Star selection from the U of G offensive line. Pyle, who was named a team captain for the 2024 season, played an integral role as one of the leaders up front, starting in 10 games this season and helping lead one of the top offences in the OUA. Robert Keyes-Wilson's play on the defensive line sees him earn OUA All-Star status for the first time. The third-year criminal justice and public policy major from Mississauga was a game-wrecker for the Gryphon defence, leading the team with 5.5 sacks (3rd in OUA) and 8.5 tackles for loss (3rd in OUA). Rounding out the Gryphon 2024 all-stars on the second team is standout cornerback, Kyle Simon-Guerin. The second-year sociology major from Brampton, Ontario stepped up and took a leap as one of the top corners in conference in 2024, finishing the season with 17 tackles, 3 pass break ups and 2 interceptions to go along with his 2 picks in the postseason.

Gryphons first-year defensive back, Evan Lakatos, was named to the 2024 OUA All-Rookie Team. It marks the 21st time a Gryphon football player has been named to the all-rookie team, extending a streak of eight straight seasons in which the Gryphons have produced one of the top rookies in the province. Lakatos, a 6-foot-3 Calgary native, played in six regular season games and two playoff games, primarily on special teams. The arts major contributed to the team as a blocker in the return game, a gunner in kick coverage and was the team's backup defensive back seeing time on the field in mainly passing situations. Lakatos finished the season with 4.5 tackles on the season.
