GUELPH, Ont. - The Gryphons women's hockey team continued their impressive start to the 2024-25 regular season, winning 3-1 on Friday night (Oct. 18) over the Carleton Ravens in Ottawa. With the game tied at 1-1 after 40 minutes of play, the Gryphons took control of the game with 3rd period goals from
Maeve Sutherland-Case and
Teghan MacRae. With the 3-1 victory over Carleton (1-1-1), the No. 4-ranked Gryphons improve to 3-0-0 on the season, with all three wins coming on the road. The Gryphons will wrap up their season-opening four-game road trip on Saturday (Oct. 19) with a 7pm matchup with the Ottawa Gee-Gees. The Gryphons home opener is set for Thursday, Oct. 24 versus York.
