GUELPH, Ont. - Saturday night at the Guelph Gryphons Athletics Centre, the Gryphons men's volleyball team suffered a five-set loss to the visiting Windsor Lancers. Set scores were 25-21, 20-25, 24-26, 25-23 and 12-15. With the result, the Gryphons fall to 1-1 on the season while Windsor improves to 2-0.
Zach Newman (22 kills) and
Josh Green (14 kills) helped lead the way for the Gryphs in attack, while
Sam Kloke racked up 10 digs to go along with his 56 assists.Â
The Gryphons will next be in action on Friday, November 3rd when they travel to St. Catharines for a road matchup with the Brock Badgers.
