Montreal, QC – The Gryphons Women's Hockey team dropped their first game of the 2015 preseason on Saturday afternoon in Montreal losing 7-4 to the Carabins. The Gryphons are now 1-1 on the preseason after beating McGill on Friday.
 
The Gryphons got off to a slow start and found themselves trailing 5-1 after the opening 20 minutes of play. The team would show great character to fight back and would outscore the Carabins 3-2 over the final 40 minutes of play. Goal scorers for the Gryphons were Claire Merrick, Jessica Pinkerton and Brittany St. James (2).
 
The Gryphons preseason schedule continues with a home game against Laurier on Saturday, September 19 at 2pm.
