London, ON - On Thanksgiving Saturday (Oct. 10) in London, the Gryphons Women's Lacrosse team suffered a 13-3 loss to the Laurier Golden Hawks. The game was much closer than the final score indicates as the Gryphons played with a high level of intensity throughout the game.
Player of the Game honours for the Gryphons went to fourth year attack
Victoria Flood (Brampton, ON) who displayed a tremendous drive throughout the game, working her hardest at every end of the field whether it was doubling attack players to the restraining line, or setting up plays on attack. Rookie attack player
Charly Guatto (Mississauga, ON) scored her first goal as a Gryphon, while veterans
Laurel McGillis and
Taylor Kidd rounded out the scoring.
