Gryphons open season in convincing victory

Sudbury, Ont. – The women's hockey team opened their 2013-14 season with a 4-0 victory over Laurentian on Saturday night in Sudbury.
 
Amanda Parkins led the team with a pair of goals while Candace Charbonneau and Kaitlyn Mora each scored a goal. Stephanie Nehring earned the shutout, turning aside 19 shots. 
 
The Gryphons play again tomorrow on the road against Nipissing at 2:30 p.m.
