Gryphons continue to go scoreless after weekend on the road

The men's soccer team were on the road this weekend for a pair of games against Windsor and Western. On Saturday the team tied Windsor 0-0, getting their only points of the season so far.  Then on Sunday the team dropped a 3-0 final to the Mustangs.

In their first game against Windsor the Gryphons showed signs of heavier pressure in the second half, as they registered five shots on the Windsor keeper in the second half but were unable to put one past the Lancer defence and keeper. Drew Gowan (Welland, Ont.) led the Gryphons with two shots on goal.  Windsor tallied six saves while the Gryphons totalled four.

Up next Guelph returns home this weekend for a pair of games against York on Saturday and Brock on Sunday.
