JESSICA PINKERTON, WOMEN’S HOCKEY
Jessica Pinkerton (Oshawa, Ont.) helped lead her Gryphons to a pair of wins this past weekend on the road.  On Friday night the forward recorded her second hat trick of the season in an 8-1 victory over the UOIT Ridgebacks.  The rookie followed up that performance with three points (1 goal, 2 assists) including the shootout winner in a 4-3 win over the Queens Gaels on Saturday in Kingston.  Pinkerton was in on every goal against Queens, and was the only goal scorer in the shootout. The Gryphons sit atop the OUA leaderboard with a 12-3-1 record. The rookie forward is second in team scoring with 17 points on 11 goals and six assists.
