After dropping Game 1 of their best-of-three series versus third seeded Waterloo, the sixth seeded Guelph Gryphons were able to storm back and win their OUA West quarter-final matchup 2-games-to-1.  In his first taste of OUA playoff hockey, Gryphons rookie goalie Andrew D'Agostini came up with a huge performance in Game 3 on Sunday night in Waterloo, making 38 saves in a 4-1 Guelph win.  D'Agostini was just 62 seconds away from a shutout before a late goal from the Warriors spoiled the bid.  The 4-1 scoreline was mis-leading, as the game was much closer than the final score indicated.  Clinging to a 2-0 lead with two and a half minutes remaining in regulation, D'Agostini came up with the biggest save of the night, robbing Waterloo forward Kain Allicock from point blank to keep it a two goal game.  The former Peterborough Petes netminder has been a workhorse in between the pipes for the Gryphons in 2014-2015, starting in 23 games and has been a huge part of the Gryphons resurgence in the second half of the season, helping them win eight of their 11 games down the stretch before upsetting Waterloo in the opening round of the playoffs.
