Third-year lock Devon Stober (Mississauga, Ont.) scored the team’s lone try in the Gryphons 11-10 win over the Western Mustangs on Saturday. The Animal Biology major’s strong presence in the lineout and poise around the field carrying the ball and making tackles kept the speedy Western team in check. Stober finished the try after the forwards and the backs went back and forth carrying the ball down the field. Recognizing the blind side was vulnerable she picked the ball and drove over the line for the essential five points.
