Fourth-year Ryan Serville (Pickering, Ont.) from the Gryphon men’s lacrosse team is the male Gryphon athlete of the week. In two games this past weekend, Serville tallied nine goals and two assists for a total of 11 points and recorded six ground balls. 

In the team's toughest game of the season, a 13-12 loss to Brock, Serville lived up to the adage that big players step up in big games, scoring six impressive goals.  His leadership both on and off the field was integral to the team's strong play this weekend.

The men's lacrosse team now hosts the McMaster Marauders on Saturday for a playoff game at 1:00 p.m. at the Gryphon Soccer Complex.
