Katie McNally, Womens Rugby
Fifth-year Katie McNally (Guelph, Ont.) was instrumental in the Gryphon women’s rugby teams come from behind 44-27 victory over the McMaster Marauders in Guelph Saturday. The Arts student scored a try in the first half to keep the game within reach for the Gryphons. The fullback made big tackles each time individual runners broke the ran and stopped their momentum. Counter rucking her own tackle, she often won the ball back so her Gryphon teammates could start the charge again. The undefeated Gryphons moved to 4-0 on the weekend and remain atop the OUA standings.
