Lucas Borges, Baseball 
Fourth-year pitcher Lucas Borges of Brooklin, Ont. is this week's Gryphon Male Athlete of the Week. Borges got the start in game one of the OUA Baseball playoffs Friday night against a tough rival in the Western Mustangs.  He delivered the best performance of his career and was absolutely dominant.  Borges pitched a complete game shutout while striking out a career high 12 Mustangs in a thrilling 1-0 win.  He gave up only six hits, and in cold weather did a great job walking only one batter.  He got better as the game went on and the pressure intensified, as evident by the fact he retired the final seven batters of the game in a row.  Lucas has developed into arguably the most consistent pitcher in the OUA and was the ace all season for the Gryphons.
