These two local radio stations offer listening pleasure for two different distinct audiences. Through a partnership with Gryphon Athletics we continue to have Gryphon Varsity sports continuously on the local airwaves and a substantially discounted advertising rate. We do regular advertisements for Varsity games on a weekly basis and have began to be involved with morning show contesting with Varsity Game ticket giveaways.

ROGERS TV - LOCAL

Rogers televises some of the Gryphon Varsity games depending on production staff availability. They support Guelph, Waterloo and Laurier University on an equal basis. Rogers TV provides us an opportunity to be in the households of our community with our Varsity teams and game.

GryphVision is the official broadcast provider of Gryphon Intercollegiate Varsity Athletics Events. And we are a proud partner with Rogers TV in Guelph.

At the University of Guelph, we do our best to produce and air almost all of the Gryphons regular season football, basketball, hockey and volleyball games on Rogers TV in partnership with GryphVision. All these games will also be streamed live online at OUA.tv

BIG BROTHERS / BIG SISTERS OF GUELPH:

The Athletic Department has developed a good community relationship with Big Brothers/Sisters of Guelph (BBBSG) beginning with our Varsity Teams, staff and corporate partner involvement with the BBBSG Bowl for Kids Sake program, Gryphon's have raised over $30,000 the last year two years.

Our Football team has taken the relationship with BBBSG to a new level by having one chosen Little Brother become an honorary member of the football team. He will be at field level for all home games, attend practices, attend social outings with the team, travel on the team bus for an away game and be outfitted with a Gryphon apparel package. We hope that this project will be a very positive experience for both the Little Brother and the team, that other teams will also be able to enjoy an honorary Little Brother or Little Sister.

This partnership has all three of these organizations wear our official gold, red and black colours and the trademarked Gryphon logo for all rep teams.

All Jr Gryphons (rep and HL) players receive a Jr Gryphon card that provides them free admission to all Gryphon regular season games (football, hockey, basketball and volleyball). All Jr Gryphons receive a $10 discount on each Gryphon summer camp they sign up with.
