Jack Reeves – Football, Hockey, Track & Field (1948-52)
Jack Reeves was an all-round athlete who represented the University of Guelph in a trio of sports including Football, Hockey and Track and Field from 1948-52. He earned a total of eight varsity letters, competing in all three sports. In Football, Reeves helped lead his team to the Intermediate Intercollegiate Championship in 1949 and was team captain in 1952 playing both halfback and quarterback. In Hockey, he was the top scorer each of the years he competed. Only competing one season in Track and Field, he won the 100, 220 and 440-yard events in 1951 and then was named the Hamilton Olympic Club Trophy winner. He graduated OAC in 1952.
