Bud Folusewych (1991) Inducted as a Builder - Friday, September 27, 1991 "Between 1973 and 1988 Bud Folusewych was Head Coach of the University of Guelph Gryphons Hockey Team. His Club won over 200 games and three OUAA Championships. The Gryphons toured Europe and North America which included winning the Thiaf Cup and two victories against the 1980 Olympic Bronze Meadlist West German National Team. An outstanding recruiter, Bud managed the 1988 OUAA All-Star team in a series against the Canadian Olympic Team. Bud was Men's Intercollegiate Co-ordinator at Guelph and a founding executive member of the Gryphon Club - Alma Mater Fund. As an athlete, Bud lettered twice in football and is one of the Gryphons Top Ten All-Time Rushers. He was Hamilton's top draft choice in the 1970 CFL Draft. Bud was President of Guelph Saulto's Gymnastic Club and Chairman of their Building Committee
