Stephanie is hoping to build on a solid rookie year in
which she showed marked improvement as the season
went on. She is a speedy little forward who goes allout
on every shift. Her hard forechecking helps

work ethic and constant drive to achieve her goals
were noticed by coaching staff, who presented her
with the Most Improved Player award at season’s end.

Stephanie more minutes in crucial situations as the year
went on. She had great success as a checking forward
and got quality minutes as a dependable penalty-killer.
Her only regular season goal was a crucial one, the
game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over the Queens
Golden Gaels in October. In addition, she scored the
game-winning goal and got an assist in her first career
playoff game, helping Guelph to win the OUA
quarterfinal against Windsor. The Gryphons presented
Stephanie with the Most Improved Player award at
season’s end.
Pre-Guelph: Stephanie is from Sarnia, Ontario, where
she played for the Sarnia Midget AA Lady Sting.
