Biography

# 23 Rachel Hancock In her third season, Rachel has established herself as one of the premier forwards in the OUA. A team leader and co-captain, Rachel is extremely competitive while also being very unselfish. Rachel is a very powerful athlete, who has worked hard to ensure that her physical strengths are now incorporated into her basketball skills. With such strengths, Rachel is very hard for opponents to contain in the paint. Quick feet combined with power, provide Rachel and the Gryphons with a very versatile scoring threat in the forward/post position. Rachel runs the floor very well, is a great rebounder, and also finds her open teammates. In addition, at the defensive end, Rachel’s speed and power make her a great defensive asset.
