Media Relations Office & Services Credentials Requests for media credentials for all Gryphon varsity events must be made to Michelle Pino, sports information officer at least 48 hours prior to game time. Depending on the sport, credentials will be held at the box office. All credential requests will be handled on a space-available basis. Media Credentials must be displayed at all times and are only issued to working media. Media seating is limited, however the media relations office will do its best to accommodate all working media. Email requests should be made to
mpino@uoguelph.ca Player Interviews All Gryphon players and head coaches will be available following each game. Student-athletes are not to be contacted directly, but rather through the media relations office. Interviews conducted before practice must be completed no later than 20 minutes prior to the scheduled start of practice. Requests for interviews on days other than practice or game-day will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Pre and post practice interviews do not have to be arranged through the Media Relations office but media are encouraged to contact Michelle Pino, sports information officer at
mpino@uoguelph.ca or by phone 519-400-4622. Practice Schedules The Gryphon practice schedules and locations vary by sport and can change weekly. If you are planning to attend a practice it is best to confirm the scheduled times and locations with Michelle Pino, sports information officer at
mpino@uoguelph.ca or by phone 519-400-4622. Photography Regulations Photographers wishing to shoot games at the University of Guelph Athletic Facilities must contact Michelle Pino, sports information officer at
mpino@uoguelph.ca or by phone 519-400-4622. For football, photo passes are mandatory and all photographers must abide by the OUA rules and regulations. For men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball, photographers are permitted to shoot from a number of courtside locations, provided they do not interfere with the flow of the game. Camera crews are asked to call in advance of the game, but will be admitted upon arrival.
