GUELPH, Ont. - The Guelph Gryphons celebrated the best and brightest from a memorable 2024-25 season by holding the annual Gryphons Athletics Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Briar Crerar of the Guelph Gryphons women's volleyball team has earned conference-wide honours alongside Aaron Rhooms (TMU men's basketball) and Maxime Gratton (Toronto men's volleyball) as this week's 'OUA Athlete of the Week' for the week of February 9 to 15, 2026. GUELPH, Ont. – The Guelph Gryphons women's volleyball team will head into the OUA playoffs with plenty of momentum. The playoff-bound Gryphons closed out their 2025-26 regular season schedule with back-to-back home wins over the Waterloo Warriors on Friday night (Feb. 13) and Saturday night (Feb. 14). The Gryphons end the 20-game regular season with a record of 14-6, good for 5th-place in the 15-team OUA standings. The No. 5-seeded Gryphons will now head to Kingston to take on the No. 4-seeded Queen's Gaels on Friday, Nov. 20 in an OUA quarterfinal matchup.
