GUELPH, Ont. - The Guelph Gryphons celebrated the best and brightest from a memorable 2024-25 season by holding the annual Gryphons Athletics Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. WINNIPEG, MB – On Thursday (Mar. 5) in Winnipeg, two University of Guelph student-athletes from the Gryphons track and field team were nationally recognized for their performances during the 2025-26 indoor track season. Max Davies was named U SPORTS Men's Track Athlete of the Year and Nicole McKenzie was named U SPORTS Women's Track Athlete of the Year. The Gryphon track and field teams are currently in Windsor for the 2026 U SPORTS Track & Field Championships, with the three-day national championship event set to begin on Thursday afternoon (Mar. 5). TORONTO, Ont. – The Guelph Gryphons are once again on top of the OUA track and field world. On Friday, February 20 and Saturday, February 21, the Gryphons made their way to the 2026 OUA Track and Field Championships at the Toronto Track and Field Centre, with Guelph coming out on top of the two day meet, sweeping the team titles on both the men's and women's sides. For the Gryphon men, it marked the 10th OUA title in program history, second in a row, and eighth in the last nine seasons. For the Gryphon women, the victory marked the 11th OUA title in program history, the first in three seasons (2022-23 the most recent), and eighth in the past decade. The Gryphons finished the OUA Championships with 26 trips to the podium (12 golds, 7 silvers, 7 bronze).]]>Gryphons men's and women's T&F teams win OUA banners 2025-26 seasonSat, 21 Feb 2026 19:19:00 EST168453
