Four Gryphons Heading to 2017 East-West Bowl


QUEBEC CITY, QC – A total of four Gryphon football players have been selected to head to Quebec City (May 8-13) for the 15th edition of the East-West Bowl. The annual prospects game features players from across the country who are eligible for the 2018 CFL Draft. Gryphon defensive backs Nick Parisotto and Royce Metchie, as well as kicker Gabe Ferraro and offensive lineman Andrew Pickett, will all be representing the University of Guelph on Team West, while showcasing their skills in front of pro scouts and competing alongside some of the very best players in Canadian university football. The week-long festivities culminate with the playing of the 15th East-West Bowl Game, which is set to kick off on Saturday, May 13th at 12:30pm. The University of Laval's TELUS Stadium has been selected as the site for both the 2017 & 2018 East-West Bowls.
