Ottawa, ON - On Sunday (March 8th) the schedule and seedings for the CIS Men's Hockey Championships were released, with the Gryphons seeded third in the eight team field. The CIS Men's Hockey Championships will take place in Halifax March 12-15. The Gryphons will face the sixth seeded Calgary Dinos in the opening game of the University Cup, with puck drop scheduled for Thursday, March 12th at 1pm Atlantic Time (12pm Eastern Time). That game can be seen live online at www.CIS-SIC.tv.

The Gryphons, who were crowned OUA Champions on Saturday (March 7) after a 4-0 win over UQTR, will be in search of the second national title in school history after they captured the CIAU Championship in 1997.  The Alberta Golden Bears enter the CIS Championships as the No. 1 seed for a third straight year. Seedings for all eight teams and the Championship schedule is listed below.
