Kingston, Ont. - The Gryphon figure skating team finished fifth at the OUA Championships which wrapped up Wednesday in Kingston, Ont. at the INVISTA Centre hosted by the Queens Gaels.
 
Overall the Western Mustangs finished first with 100 points for their third straight OUA championships while the Gaels were second with 88 and Toronto took bronze with 70 points.
 
The Gryphons finished with 51 points. On the second day of the meet the Gryphons gathered a pair of medals as Francis Adamo earned silver in the men's open while Maya Goldman and Christine Kucava took bronze in the gold creative dance event.
 
Over the two day competition the Gryphons earned a total of five medals. At the close of the event Guelph's pairs fours team of Christine Kucava, Maya Goldman, Anjiuli Dabydeen and Amanda Sproule were named as OUA All-Stars for their gold medal performance in the pairs fours event on Tuesday.
