The Gryphon women's soccer team finished off their 2012 regular season with a 1-0 win over the Warriors on Sunday in Waterloo. 

The Gryphons qualified for the playoffs with an 8-3-5 record. 

Alexandra Harriss (Dundas, Ont.) scored the game-winning goal for the Gryphons at minute-74, and Alex King earned the shutout, stopping three shots.

The Gryphons will now advance to an OUA West quarterfinal game against the York Lions this Wednesday at 3:00 p.m.  Guelph finished the season fifth in the OUA West while the York Lions were fourth.   During the regular season these teams split both their outings with finals of 1-1.
