Why you love being a Gryphon: The reason why I love being a Gryphon is the family atmosphere of our team. It was what intrigued me when I was being recruited and still holds true today. When I am on the field, I know that my teammates are going to give 110 percent until the final whistle blows because we are playing each other.
 
Best nickname on the team: I would have to give that to Jake Reinhart. We call him "Rhino" and he backs it up with his play.
 
One thing we don't know about your team: The football team has many talented foosball players in the locker room. Before practices you will often find players on the tables that we have in our locker room.
 
Favourite song to get warmed up to: Anything by The Foo Fighters.
 
Something we don't know about your coach: Not only was coach Lang a CFL football player, he was also a hockey player at the collegiate level. He managed to balance his schedule as a student studying engineering, while playing both hockey and football in his university career.
